Since stepping back from commercial work I have found that going out and exploring the great outdoor has brought me great calmness. From a young age, I have found getting out into the woods, in the mountains, or by the water has brought me this calmness. Photographing the great outdoors has also been a great excuse to go out and breath in some fresh air while getting exercise.
This is a dream scape not a documentary. The portfolio is ever growing and ever changing. As a young child sitting under the stars kept me up many nights. To this day, looking into the vastness of space opens my imagination and curiosity. Whether in film or digital, Infrared or IR photography has always been intriguing and a challenge I enjoy pursuing. Most people have difficulties seeing in tones if they are not colour blind. But seeing in tones that are beyond our ability to perceive takes both imagination and a leap in faith (granted, with modern IR converted digital cameras it takes a little less of both of these, but if you have them, it takes you that much farther).
