Current Focus:
Using my foundation in business and as a creative to develop engaging content and effective marketing strategies through leadership, strategic planning and mentoring creative and administrative talent.
History:
I have 30 years of experience in marketing and content development for print, web, and broadcast with creative and consistent design, photography, and video production.
I spent 22 years as a commercial photographer based in the USA shooting for brands such as The Gap, Robert Mondavi, TJ Maxx, Home Shopping Network and others.
I have over 15 years of experience as creative lead and manager of designers, production artists, videographers, and support staff.
In 2015, I earned my master’s degree in digital marketing to supplement my ability as a creative, leader, and manager with a stronger analytic and business strategy foundation.
I believe that one should be able to light and compose any subject once one has mastered their craft, so I don’t limit myself to one category of products. Throughout my career, my focus has been on creating compelling images for my clients.
Current Projects:
I’m currently developing a YouTube channel that’s focused on landscape and astrophotography tours in the Midwest. The channel will instruct viewers on where to find and explore interesting local subjects on short, inexpensive trips. My goals are to grow a community of like-minded photographers, videographers, and other artists to help each other develop their own styles, and to promote local parks and other locations. To achieve these goals, I want to grow and establish working relationships with state tourist boards for access and marketing purposes.
